Default why me...

imma start right from the get-go...
my 02 srambler was a good first quad... but i did have some problems with it... like leaking antifreeze and some sort of loud clunking that my dealer couldnt identify... so i traded it in for my pred.
as many of you know... my pred wasnt exactly good to me either... it always had problem and then fianlly the tranny blew...
i bought a yfz... and in my other post you see a screw came loose in the carb causing me to not be able to finish the race... i fix it and take it out for a test drive, when i come back... my airfilter was MIA, i looked and looked where i rode and couldnt find it. went to my dealer to try to find a filter to fit on my intake so i could practice last night, all they had was a uni... they said it should flow close to what my larger k&n did... i only bought it cause i wanted to ride!!! get it home and slap it on and take it for a spin... my 450 didnt even wanna move much because it was sooo restricted now, so i called esr and ordered a new filter and had it 3-day shipped so i can race this weekend. i go practice anyway... was going great... then a close friend of mine decided she wanted to flying over a burm right into the trees on her rm85, she got pretty beat up... but x-rays on her leg were negative so thats good... she just out commission for a while. then while taking a break my buddy says... "wow, thats alot of oil coming from your quad". i go and look and oil is all over the place... i think the seal behind my sprocket went... so i probably wont make the races this weekend.

now after all of this i still love riding... but i swear, one more major thing goes wrong i am selling them both and i am going to start a new hobie in gardening or something!

Dude I feel your pain. When I was dialing in my bike I would no longer get one problem solved then another one would crop up. Almost makes you want to cry. Hang in there bro it will get better.

Is your YFZ still under warranty?

With you're luck, I'd never get married. Doesn't anybody make a Hoze-proof quad?

Gardening is not all that bad and you would be in the dirt.

LOL....the glass is always half full isn't it Raptoryfm660r? Just stay clear of any tillers or anything motorized Hozed. Its all manual labor for ya.

About the seal though...... I don't see how it could be leaking already? Do you have your chain adjusted to tight? Possibly putting too much tension on the countershaft when compressing the suspension. This is not a problem I've heard from the Yfz's yet.

Dang, Quads must not like you or something.

you could always move over to the dark side and ride one of those two wheeled offroad things.
seems like there a lot eaiser to fix when they break.

But i think gardening is best. nothing to break.

Geez Hozed. What are you doing to these machines?

I think you should try your luck on a viper 90 small but mighty, there more of a "Hozed" proof quad.

Sorry to hear of all the your troubles, hope things get better for ya.
