i am getting a new ATV and am debating on the new Honda, the 04 troy lee pred. i can get the troy lee out the door for 5400 bucks, I can get the honda out the door for 6300 bucks. Is the predator up to the challenge of riding with the craptors and the Z and the honda? Thanks

 

Uhhhhh. there is like no comparison. No seriously though the pred has electric start and much proven and reliable then the honda horror stories. And DAMN 5400 otd dont pass it uP!! All crap aside you would like the pred much more then the honda. why would u want to kickstart a 4 stroke?

 

just what MrZeeedler said its proven that predators are great fast quads with electric start.. as for keeping up with the raptor the pred has better stering and i think feels more comfy to ride also

 

Oh forgot about the raptor....But yeah they are the same speed. Rider to Rider they are the same. Itts all in the rider.

 

hey, why don't you get an 05' predator. they now have reverse on them and are still less expensive than the 04 honda. they retail for $6100 but you can probably go to your dealer and still get it for less than 6K

 

My thoughts exactly. Electric AND reverse? Can't go wrong for a trail/XC quad... Get the TroyLee 05' and you get reverse, close ratio tranny, AND front shock rezzies!!.....

what honda horror stories have you heard...? cause i myself have had many pred problems along with many others... and i havent heard any proven defect of the honda yet...
honestly... id go for the honda... it kick easy so that isnt an issue... and its all around better than the pred.
sorry guys... its the truth.

 

I would also go with the honda.

 

I've heard of honda swingarm problems from a couple of my friends that have em....both have had em replaced. One says he has trouble with the hotstart dealio....

 

i know the yfz has some swinger problems... i am just waiting for that to go on me know...
