Just posted pics of my crash ... got bucked off, then my sportsman when over a hill and hit a tree. Looks like it's going to be a total ... bent the frame.

 

dam that sucks... you have insurance i assume?

 

Yep working with them right now ... will let everybody know how it turns out.

Sorry to hear that 20045SP500HO Ya just hate to see that happen to a good quad. What are you looking at for a replacement ? I really like the 05 with all the upgrades.

Glad your ok, but what happened ?

 

I was in low ... going about 15 mph, came around a turn and started the down hill trail. Next thing I was on the ground … I had hit a tree stump with the front right tire and it blew out the tire, throwing me off the left side of the machine and down the trail. I was in my riding gear, the pants tore along the seams and I got a few trail burns, I also jammed two fingers on my right hand … thank god for my helmet. When I looked I saw my atv going over a hill … it was starting down a 60 yard run toward a gully … just before falling in the gully it hit a tree. The tree (likes Murphy’s law was say) was SOOO much bigger than the atv it stopped. I was able to use the warn winch to pull it free of the tree and up the hill … but the winch is shot, making a lot of noise and didn’t have much pulling power. I then started it up, yes it’s leaking fluids, and drove it about 200 yards to a main trail … then I waited for someone to give me a tow. Of course the tow was a fun 3 ˝ mile ride. I got it back on the trailer and now it's getting an repair quote.
