hi guys,i removed my oil injection and put on a black 500 hood.im having a problem, the front corner of the hood wont stay latched to the plastic causing it to pop up.im worried its going to come flying off on the trail, andbody have this happen and come up with a fix for it?my other one did the same thing but the oil cover held it from comming off.oh and i must say,it looks pretty sharp with the red plastic and the black hood

I wonder if you could take 2 or 3 of the really small, thin zip-ties and wrap them thru the slot in the plastic, maybe take up some of the slack? Just a thot.

Mine did the exact same thing. What I did was got some velcro strips and put it on the tab and the back side where the tab goes in. Worked like a dream and hasn't popped out since. Real cheap fix.
