When the pred first came out our local dealers were claiming 50 HP. maybe they're getting it at the crank.

 

Back then Polaris never stated it had 50hp, but now they have it down in writing. Right at the 50th party, they had it in writing that the Pred has 50hp. That's a bold statement!!

 

Of course they would be talking about the crank, like all manufacturers do. (BHP)

50 is awesome. I might get a TLD over getting another YFZ. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] I like the bigger size and you can get a good deal one them too if you wait a bit.

 

i think the 50th and the TLD's look sooo nice......im almost totally won over now.

 

So how many of you guys are going to be upset and call the Predator a piece of Sh*t when it doesn;t have 50 HP at the wheels? I wouldn't get too hung up on the HP figure. There would need to be some serious stuff done to get it up to 50 RWHP. The 2005 quad is awesome with the upgrades regardless esp. the TLD model. Has there ever been a quad with 50 HP stock at the wheels? Well the only one that ever came that close was the 'Zilla and that was a 2 stroke- so don't bet on it, that's all I'm saying.
