One more 2005 from Polaris
#1
I just bought the September issue of ATV Rider. I was reading about the 05 Polaris quads, and they said "There are some things we can't tell you until next issue, on pain of death, so those have to wait anyway. You'd think that an updated Predator, a redesigned Sportsman and two completely new models in the MV7 and Phoenix would be enough for one year, but wait, as there is even more hot stuff from Roseau.". Does this mean there will be yet another new quad from the Big P next month? For those with some insider information please speak up! You don't have to tell us what it is, just if we got another one coming. This mag hints there will be.....

Shhhhhhhhhh it's a secret. Probably the usual Polaris stuff - releases after the initial unveiling. Most likely hunter packages or possibly the rumored 450 pred or better yet for the guys not wanting all the zip a smaller displacement pred..

It's a new, emissions-friendly 400 powervalve, direct-injected 2-stroke based on 1/3 of the 1200 triple watercraft motor. In a chassis similar, but strengthened, to the Phoenix. Should be just under 60 horse with 25% improvement in fuel economy over the old 400.

LOL a 25% improvement heck that would just about cover the cost of mine in one year LOL...
However I love my 400 Scrambler nothing like saying oooops stuck in the mud here and roosting like mad LOL...

I'll bet it's a bigger Pheonix. Look at the web site. On the menu it says Pheonix and if you click on it then it shows Pheonix 200. If there was only going to be one model then why have a second menu?

Yeah, you got a point there radblazer. If you click on the Scrambler, there isn't a second menu. It's the same situation with the Trail Boss and Trail Blazer. I think it could be a bigger Phoenix.
