Rocky MT ATV sells them. Just get one for a Polaris 2x4. Also, the Trailtechs don't have a tach on them. But, you can use a generic tach (like a Sunpro) set on the 6 cyl. setting for about $40

o damn its probably a good thing you told me they dont have a tach on them.

If the tach from sunpro is set up for a 6 cylinder it wont read right will it/?

Well if your wanting to spend a lil bit of money check these products out, they booth work great.
My-chron and Digitron. These are what i used on my racing kart back in the day. ony like 3 years ago, and every one is still using them they have a cylinder head temp, and a also a tach. You can set them so it will start flashing at you when you have reached your red-line or your if your getting to hot. The My-chron is by far smaller. The one i am thinking of that will fit your aplication is called the Mini My-chron i believe. Check you www.4cycle.com and goto there forums and check out the forsale part. You will find a couple in there.

The tach needs to be set on the 6 cyl. setting for it to read correctly. This is only for the polaris 400L motor. It has to do with the ignition timing pulses

Never put one on (I got the 500 4 stroke). Plenty of people on here have though. Try a search on the subject or start a thread. I know it cant be that hard. But those with experience with it could help you with the details. Good luck.
