Yes they do look sweet. The only thing I don't understand is......they say if you use stock carb. do not mod air box......but if you buy a K&N and don't mod air box you are wasting your money right?

Im assuming its to keep less variables for them(HMF) to deal with in jetting.....

RAJ,
Sorry about getting back to ya so late. I have been very busy, heck i don't have time to even ride.

I haven't got the HMF full system yet, Tom at sweetquads said HMF can't keep up with all the orders and it will probably be a week or so before they even ship it out.

When i have it on the bike and jetted right i'll let everyone know how it performs.

BTW, i have 4 3/8 holes that i drilled in the air box with a drop in K&N ( you can feel the difference), the reason they say don't mod the stock air box with stock carb is this:
1. The stock carb makes better power with a little restriction, now if you had the carb modified by Nicholas cycle you can play around more.
2. The more mods you do to the stock box the harder it is to jet, HMF don't want 5,000 calls about jetting.

Thats cool.....just let me know how it runs. Hey BTW my buddy put a 13 tooth sprocket on his 04 Pred. and he's going have to take a link out of the chain. I though it would have enough ajustment, but it don't. But man it made a big difference.

yeah you gotta give those companies that give out jetting settings a lot of credit because you think about it....they do gotta put up with all these calls and complaints if it dont work right because the person doesnt figure in the mods they have on their quad.

I do agree, it would be nice to drop in a jet.......and not have to worry about which one and how many to get. Hey does Nicholas Cycle has a web site? I have been trying to find one.

Dropping the rear to 38 should elimanate that problem.
