I'm having my dealer install the HPD trail pipe and clutch kit on my bike and was wondering what kind of gains I should expect when I get it back. My dealer is a HPD stocking dealer up here in New York so I know they'll do a good job with the parts and installation. I wanted to do the work myself but my dealer told me if I messed with the clutch I would void my warrenty. Cause I love doin things myself and learning in the process.

Good thats what i wanted to hear. Now all i have to do is get my machine back. Its been at the dealer for over a week now and it's killin me. I want to ride!

be sure jetting is on the rich side for the couples first rides,generally
with a stock 34mm carb and trail pipe,a 180 to 190 main jet is a must have,richen needle 1 clip,all this to avoid to seize piston the first ride.,be sure there is some kind of pre-mix oil in the gas tank.

 

he didnt get a new piston so he doesnt need to break it in. just be sure they tuned it right

 

Yea just a pipe and clutch kit. Next mod might be to bore her out, idk.

 

save ur bore til u need it. port it next u wont even know its the same quad
