Save your money, buy a camo COVER this will also protect the machine from the elements as well.

I was thinking about it, but a new Camo cover plus the difference in price....not sure it justifies the cost. I ride my Rottweiler on the back of the 4-wheeler all the time, he has a tendancy to stand on the fender. He weighs about 105 pounds and leaves alot of claw marks on the fender, so thats why I was thinking of the cover or maybe something else to keep him from scratching up the new machine....still looking for someone else that uses the cover...how well they fit, etc.

just out of curiosity why did you not get an 04 camo EFI. the dealer I got mine from still has one on the showroom floor with a warn winch. I kinda wish I would have got that one now instead of my black and silver 04'. this way I would have gotten the winch and I like the blacked out wheels and how all the suspension is black instead of red. I could of got that one then either traded the plastics for the black and silver or just bought the extra plastics. might have been a pain in the *** but would have been cool to have the black and silver all blacked out.

one of the dealers here has a camo hunter special 700 efi and a regular camo efi....i'm going to go look at them tomorrow....with the first year efi i'm hesitant, and I also like some of the features of the new 2005's, like the built in storage on the front and the different front suspension, as well as larger tires...but maybe with the discounts right now....

Actually, the idea of camo is to break up a person's or object's siloutte. That's why Ghillie suits work so well. Did I even spell siloutte right? Anyway, color really doesn't matter to animals, as long as it looks like there's depth to something, like it sees a shadow. That's why they use black.

I can't wait till I can get a look at a new 05 SP......

Thats true....the idea to Camo for animals is to 'break-up' your pattern to blend in with the surroundings. My main reason for a Camo ATV is not to hide it from animals but to hide from humans that may try to steal it....

I'm still torn on waiting for a new '05 with its improvements vs the '04 Hunter Special 700 EFI that is sitting at the dealer. Still wondering what an OTD price should be for the '04....looked for info, but haven't found any. Anyone have any idea's what I should pay for an '04 700 EFI Hunter Special?
