Default Scrambler and ITP Mud Lites

Is anyone out there running ITP Mudlites on their scrambler and if so, how are they. I am looking to get some better tires than what it came with and haven't seen too many suggestions for the scrammy. I want to be able to get through some mud and wasn't sure about the Hole Shots for that Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Mudlites and the Scrambler are a great combo. In fact, when my 489 X/T's wear out, I will probably replace them with Mudlites. But the X/T's have been a very good tire too.

I was also looking at those 489 X/T's. You think the Mud lites are a better way to go though? Are you going to a bigger size? or sticking with the 22X11-10 and 23X7-10's. Some one had said those Mudlites wear real fast. any truth to that?

I cant really comment on how the mudlites wear, but I know that they are a very popular "all terrain" type tire and that the people that run them seem to be happy with em. I have the stock tire size on mine too. I think that the XT's or the mudlites would a good choice. Both are good traction 6 ply tires. You cant go wrong with either one.

well............ I got the shifter from Autozone. $15 if I remember right. AND the eyes light up red The seat cover is from North American Powersports. $55 plus shipping. You also can choose any color you want, including some carbon fiber looking materials.

I run MudLites on my Scrambler and love them. Wear is not much of an issue for my riding style.

All I did was remove the old shifter ****. Then I put a little electrical tape on the shifter rod so that the skull would fit a little tighter. Then there is a set screw on the back of the skull that clamps it to the rod. Make sure you put a little loctite on that set screw otherwise it will work loose. Also, the skull detaches fromt the mounting part of it (so you can replace the battery). I had problems with mud and water getting in there, so I put a little silicone around it. Simple change. Also, the shifter **** is the one with red LED eyes and for manual trannies. They have a few different types there

Hey BigBadScrambler,

Can you provide a link to the 489X/T's? I looked around and found them in Titans. The site wasn't very good. Was the X/T true size what they claimbed they would be?
