I'm a Poo guy when it comes to quads but I'd have to agree here also. The Outlander 400 is an awesome machine and not nearly as big and heavy as the Sportsman. Let her ride a few and see what she likes.

 

The Sportsman 400 is the right choice.

If you were to get a mangnum 330 she wouldn't be able to keep up with that 500h.o trust me. I have a suzuki 300 the 500 will leave the 300 in the dust. SHe will be hapier then to

 

I had a mag 330 2x and if she is always with you, that is all you need. I was near the White River (AR) pulling out of Crooked Creek up a steep snowy trail and my buddy on an ac 400 4x was so impressed he bought it for his kid when i bought my 700.

 

id go with the 330 mag or the 400 sportsman both are automotic and are good machines

don't go with the mag 330. they are not that good. yes if you are just putten around the trail there ok. but trust me on this one. both you and her will want more after a year or so.

 

Scarabrick, when my wife and I go riding she rides the 500ho Sportsman and I ride the 400 Scrambler. She has been riding it for two years now. The only quad she ever rode before that was a yamaha warrior. She just loves the ride of the 500ho and she can handle the power just fine. I know she would not want to go back to a strait axle. She is only 5'4" 125 lbs.
