yep, he was right, i ride w/ a boss all the time and he was dust before and after I got my pipe. the blazer is a good machine.

I too have a pipe on my 97 TB and i manage to stay up with 400 ex's in the tight wooded trails.
when they get on the open fire roads then Im left in the dust. I smoke the Boss also.

 

Yep, the boss has about the same top speed, but the Blazer gets there faster. Plus, you can get much more performance out of the Blazer then the Boss with the same amount of cash.

 

I too could beat my the '00 T-Boss before and after the pipe on my T-Blazer.My wifes '99 T-boss on the other hand will still out run me dadgummit! I think that thing must be one of those factory freaks that rolls out with more horsepower than all of its brothers and sisters.

i had a 99 trail boss 250, the dealer told me it had more on top (didnt belive him but got it anyway) and i decided to get the trailblazer a while ago. it is definatley faster, or sure feels like it. the trail blazer is about $200 cheaper, and has more hop up parts. i only used the rack sometimes for trailrides, and that was the only reason we liked the trail boss. wen we went to pickup our yellow sportsmen there was a 2000 tblazer with a rack, and it came home with us. the sporstmen came 1 month later.
