I've talked to Doug alot, said" He's got a fcr and going to test it to see how it compares to give everyone more of a answer on that situation". He has not try must yet with the fcr. But did say the lectron shines in the drag racing of the preddy (only bad side) is they like to return to an idle slower and may be a problem if racing mx, or trail if you not quick on the clutch. I love how he is so customer oriented
and told me "if He can't get a moneys worth gain out of a product He does not want to sell it!". He's in business to support his love of the sport and help people with the same love not full his pockets. He sure has one bad fast preddy too!!! I'd like to take the 18 hr plus drive to his shop sometime.
Just looking for a carb that I can drag race with. Do a little mx, and trail ride with and have good performance in all(I not no PRO).
Thanks for the help so far. The edelbrock sound like the easiest to install and adjust, but easy isn't always better!!!

I think, IMO that I wouldn't put on the eldabrock, sounds like I wouldn't want it on mine. Did he say anything about the other lectron carbs?? Or are they all the same?? His son runs a lot of mx, some freestyle, and quite a bit of dragging....ask about what carb Matt is running? He is very customer friendly, and you are very correct on his view of selling a product. He spends hours on the pred, that is why I always send people there.....

I know of three riders and two of the three have the Edlebrock and do NOT like it.... I too have heard alot of good about the Lectron. also the throddle is very stiff so you may get hand fatigue alot more than before... Some swear by that Carb.. I personally wont buy it...

The lectron and the fcr are where I'm struck between. Doug said his son Matt is running one of his modified stockers. I think I'm going to wait until Douig test the fcr. Because I know he''ll sell me what works. He's thinking maybe once he comfirms it that the fcr will be better for gerenal riding trail and mx, and milded dragging, but He's sure that the lectron will be better in drag racing form. I've heard only some bad on the lectron. Not from Doug. They say it like the edelbrock has a slide sticking problem (other then that they work awesome). I've also heard that the edelbrock is just a copy of the lectron only with a pumper.
