I am new the sport of ATVing. I have been active in snowmobiling for 30 years and have been driving Polaris sleds for years. There is a website www.polarisman.com and on this website he has specs for every sled Polaris has made for 35 years. I have been trying to find such a site for Polaris ATV's and can't find one.

I am looking to buy a very nice used ATV but would like to see specs on the different Polaris ATVs so I can see things like does a Magmun have independent rear suspension or mono shock. Or is it two stroke or four.

I would like to find a 2001 or 2002 Sportsman 400 or 500.

Any help would be great.

You can go on the Polaris website(www.polarisindustries.com) and go to atv's, and then go to 04's or something older, and click on the model you are wondering about, then click on specs/competitive comparision. That should give you the info you want, I'm not sure about just a site that tells the info you talked of.
