The thing revs out alot faster. Wheelies are easier because it revs faster.
Its like if you had a rubber ban powered air plane and only wind it 10 times
and now you wind it 20 times. It accelerates faster!

Now that you brought up the weight thing. I think that the Polaris claims on the TBs
weight is off. I just weighed my bike with a 440 lb hanging scale and with all the stuff
that I have removed it weighs 420 lbs with just 1/8 tank of gas. Polaris claims that a
99 TB 250s dry weight is 440 lbs and I know that I have remove 50 pounds of stuff.
The scale is correct so I figure that my TB was really about 470 lbs. Has anybody
else came to this conclusion?

Yeah the race lightned flywheel helps alot but, ive heard that a heavier flywheel is better for the hill ..... but it does rev faster and have better response ... Austin
