Yes you can mount the mudrunners on stock rims. But on the front you will need to add 4 washers on the wheel stud to allow for some extra clearence from the sideall to the tie rod end.it will work with out butyou will rip the little protective boot, other then that enjoy them new boots. Also you will loose some low end tourqe so use low range more it will save you some problems.

Thanks for the info, I also heard if I use .190 aluminum rims I'll need extended studs. Anyone with this combo on a SP 500 please respond, I do some fairly aggressive ridind and don't want to tear it up.

Will the 26" tires mount on the 25" standard rims I thought that you would have to get 26" rims. Anyway I got the 26x12x12 all the way around mounted on my sportsman the tires are the blackwaters and it makes a huge difference from the stock tires, its like night and day difference.

ATVing, yes the 26 inch Mudrunners will mount directly on your stock rims.Im glad you are happy with the Blackwaters, however, the Blackwater tires are not a true mud/snow tire and do not provide the superior traction that the Mudrunners offer.Blackwater tires are a ''GOOD, ALL PURPOSE'' tire, but for the serious stuff, the Mudrunners win.===Bill

I have the .190`s on my Scrambler and the wheel is thicker than stock. I get 1 thread less than a full nut engagement on the stock stud. Have riden all season and no problems but I am lighter and a shorter tire. Does a Sportsman have the same 3/8-24 stud?
