Default 700 efi need some help

I tried Gorilla boots on my 700 EFI the first time they failed and the Gorilla didn't last as long as the facory boots. Again, the problem with the 700's that we are riding are not caused by sticks but by gravel and sand being ground between the boot and the aluminum casting.

We had a 2005 700EFI out on Sunday and tore both inner front boots....I think the front boot guards were pushed into the boots by hitting a hole of water real fast. Also ruined one of the new Polaris radial tires...sidewalls are thin!

I was thinking about "upgrading" to the Carlisle Badland tires for the improved ride quality, but you're giving me second thoughts. I tore a pretty big gash into the side of my Goodyear Rawhide, but it held up. I was impressed.
