Default Scrambler 500 Mods

Hi I was just wondering what would be the best mods for my Scrambler. I don't want to do any motor mods, I just want to know the best clutching combos.(color of springs and size of weights) If anyone knows of any good combos please let me know.
Thanks

With no other mods try either a Polarios white or green primary spring with stock weights and set the secondary at 2-2.Green has a little more engagment speed than the white.

I think it depends on your riding. I do alot of mudding and plow snow with mind. I use a polaris yellow primary with 58 gram weights. The secondary silver with blue and a hpd heavy duty button kit (The spring breaks stock buttons). Helix is from a 400 sportsman 44/36 (scrambler stock straight 40) Which help the top end as the secondary spring I use has poor top speed. It hard to clutch for how you ride speed, trail, etc are different due to amount of load factor and belt slip. My combo works great with big tires. With 25'' mudzilla's I was breaking drive-shaft with a stock engine. Call hpd tech they know the answers you're looking for. (www.hpd-inc.com)
