Default Trailblazer 250 Compression question

I am looking at purchasing a 97 Trailblazer. The person selling the quad said it is hard to start. I am going to take a compression reading to make sure the top end is in good shape. What should the compression reading be? I'm thinking 150-190 but not sure. any info would help.

Rick - Thanks for the info. I was able to run by last night and check the compression. I was getting 125. Looks like a winner.
