well i have a 2003 sp 600 and what should the oil pressure be at idle 1000 rpm? i hooked up a mechanical gauge and i am getting 10 psi at idle. it has good oil in in(polaris 0w40, clean) well what do u guys think,,,,thanks in advance.

 

Fits right in with the old notion of 10psi per 1000 rpm for non-high performance motors. That's what I was taught in auto mechanics 20 years ago.
