how much power will this make???

Default how much power will this make???

i would like to know what you think this will have for hp power on my 400 with the mods done??? i was talking to my buddy and he has a dyno that we might try once i get it dialed in and he has time see below for mods

Default how much power will this make???

i was thinking about the clutching today what secondary spring should i be running in this setup as it is still the stock one? as for the last post do you think the hp would in the 60+hp range or higher?

Just a guess here, I by no means know anything.......but I would say your hp is closer to around 45-50 range.........You can look on hpd's clutch page, and it shows the different clutch spring setups(engagement rates) and you can decide what you want yours to engage at....www.hpd-inc.com If you are going to dyno it, you might consider taking off those big tires, and putting some knobbie or slicks...

its okay with the tires as this dyno goes right on the engine so it shows engine hp not rear wheel hp

ya thats how most autos are measured. it bolts right up to the crank after u take the primary off i belive

stock is 38hp with 440 big bore kit 76hp

I'm goin to hit for about 55hp at the crank on pump gas. The only thing I cant speak for is the porting, but sounds like he followed advice pretty well[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

just to let you know bubba buddy with the dyno is the same one that did the port job. i have to wait till friday to get it back together been sick then out of stock on the head gasket will try to ride on mon i hope [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

well got it back together and took it for a rip.well it goes good exept i have some problems with the carb or something it bogs and dies some of the time not sure what the problem is yet it is like it runs out of gas sometimes it had this problem awhile ago ithought it was okay till today. i am going to check fuel pressure this week if i cant get it running right i will have to resort to the old 34mil carb (pos)
