yaK- nope just snorkeled the clutch, not carb. intake. Might be my next project on it though. It is a blast to ride in the soup, i have moded other sportsmans b/4 both 500's and 700's and i have to say this is definately funner to ride in the soup even with the solid axle in the back, i think it's the lighter weight thats makes it funner to ride.

mtpockets- thanks

nice pics but aren't the tires just a smidge to big for the quad. I'm not doggin ya or nothin just saying they look kinda big for the quad. does it take alot of power to get it rollin or don't you notice to much of a difference.

silverbullet2005- depends on what you want to do with the bike, if you want to honk down the trail at 50-55mph the yes they are why to big but when all i do is travel basically into my back yard and i'm knee or waist deep in the soup then no they are not to big. Yes, takes alot of power to turn the wheels, that why the bike is ported, piped, cammed, high compression piston, Low range tranny and geared down. It definatlely is no longer a sport bike the way it's set up but i have more fun riding it than i ever did my modded sportsmans with large tires, except my *** gets a little sore on long rides compared to the sportsmans i used to have.
