bad needle valve and seat???
my needle valve and seat are bad I think thats what i was told so anyway when giving it gas i leak gas/oil out the very bottom vent line on my carb...does this hurt anything besides the environment??
also when i looked at my float arm one of them was bent down and the other was straight which one is right??when i order a new needle valve and seat should i just get a new one of those to? how hard are they to replace??

if ur bike runs good, needle valve is ok, and float height is set improper. If the needle valve leaks, it will flood the engine while sitting and will be hard starting(flooded), it will also flood the engine when running and will run like junk. If it runs good and is leaking outof the bowl vent, the float height is set too high. with the carb off in ur had, hold it upside down and the float arms should be level with the deck of the carb. if not, bend thim so that they are.
good luck
