tb 400 help

i got a tb 400 and i baught a hpd pipe and clutch kit for it and now when i ride it and i want to stop it down shifts quick and it dont respond good

Could you be a little more specific?Kinda sounds like maybe your secondary clutch spring is not installed correctly.Did you turn it a 1/3ccw?
