Well I'm not sure what the deal is with the pred, but people have ran plenty of bikes with turbos on carbs. There are some members on here with a lot more information about it, I'm sure if you post about it or search you will come up with some answers.

yes....if a turbo can work so could a supercharger....they give smoother power increase but both force air through the intake basically

 

Still forcing air in yes, but I dont believe I've ever seen a supercharged atv.

It is the way a supercharger works that would make it just about impossible. A turbo works on exhaust gases, while the supercharger uses pullies and belts. Last time I looked there where no pullies or belts running off the pred motor. You would have to really engineer up a system to run a supercharger.
