trailblazers dont have reeds... do a pipe, filtercharger if u dont ride mud, head mill, port, and remove some weight if u want it to run near a 400 scrambler then u can do a gear change i run 12/34 from the stock 11/36 and still have unbelievable torque

I don't want to go into the motor until it's ready for a rebuild. Also want to hear about the stock gearing and whether or not it should be changed when you pipe and jet the quad. Again, thanks!

Can anybody answer the above please. Thanks! I don;t want to go into the motor yet (head mill, piston, etc) since the motor is still practically new. Looking to see how quick and fast a piped, jetted, clutched TB 250 is WITHOUT piston, milled head, etc. What stock quad would you compare it to in terms of acceleration (250 Mojavi, 300EX, 400EX, etc)? Thanks again!

If you really work with it(make it clutched perfectly and jetted appropriately)......and work well with Rick Ritter or Azbadboys.......then you should be good with a 300ex, and might be close to a 400ex, depending on your weight and riding ability.

with just pipe and clutch kit your not going to hang with a 300ex you will have to get into the engine if i were you i would go with a reed conversion kit www.azbadboyz.com or www.hpd-inc.com

We have a HPD piped ,clutched and jetted Trailblazer along with a good port job ad it will hold its own with the 300-350s but not the 400s.For the $$$$ I would go with the RcR but if you dont want the high engagment check into the Dynoport pipe.I have one of those on my wifes 400 Scrambler and it runs great with a stock clutch set up.I friend of ours has one on his wifes TB and it has more bottom end than our HPD TB but isnt close on the top.

I have 2 2004 Trailblazer 250's. One was for me and one was for the wife. I have a few friends that always get the biggest and baddest anything to just beat eachother. So everyone got the bigger badder quad than me. So first I got a pipe from RCR and the silencer...HA! funny! LOUD!!!! VERY VERY VERY VERY LOUD! Then I also got the nasty high rev clutch for it.....wow! With these 2 mods it wont even move till its screaming. Then it usually shoots a nice roost out the back. They claim 8hp increase and on a 2 stroke I guess that might be possible. So with it stock putting out 22hp and the 8hp increase you get 30hp. Now that is pushing it if you ask me. It is WAY better than stock but you will loose the quiet mild ride, you can't even fire it up at night wihtout feeling like your seriously disturbing the hood. I also got new 2004 500 scrambler black plastics on it with the stock 2004 250 graphics (tipped it over once, and I dont like scratches). I am selling it now because I wanted more power than that .... so now I have a 04 DS BajaX.....if you can't beat um.....join um.
