I'm not sure what to beleive. Their are some people who swear that it is comming out but I wonder why Polaris would introduce a new, record breaking quad right after an improved, already industry leading machine. If they do even release it, I would expect that it will be out in a year if not more.

the sp700 is kinda like a mustang cobra. most people would be happy with a mustang GT but some people have to have it all, so there the cobra. the economy is good and sled and PWC sales are down so for polaris to make more money they must make more models to satisy lots of people.the sp700 will cost lots more but it will have tons of power. polaris also knows there are strong rumors that Kawi. has a 650cc praire with IRS coming out. they dont want to be the underdog in the utility market.
i may upgrade to the sp700 after i see one and can justify the cost. but with 50hp u can say good buy grizzley and goodbye rubicon.

I'll give it a year to work the bugs out. There is no way and R&D can do what guys on this board will do to their quad. I say let them bring it out and find the little problems before you blow $8000. KAWI has an advantage because they actually race their quads, instead of sponsoring NASCAR! I'll be ready for the 700 for 2002!

the dealers dont know anything offical yet. if u can wait till after the dealers show at the end of the month. this is when all the info on the sp700 will be told. i remember a while back that someone had talked to a worker at polaris oscola wisconsin plant. he said they were already making the 700 engines.

MOOSE 2001 catalog page 31 lists a Polaris 725cc 6x6 quad. MOOSE even knows how many cc's the engine is going to be. Aftermaket companys always know more about what is coming out. A 725cc twin? It's True... It's True...
