Default Important Question for 400cc TrailBlazer

Well I've found a 400cc 2 stroke 2003 TrailBlazer 2wd for about $3000, it's in very good condition and very few scratches on the plastic. Also how loud are these when compared to the 4 stroke 500cc Scrambler !!

There is not much difference in sound if the exhaust is stock. The 400 is a 2-stroke, so the exhaust note will be a little higher pitched. $3000 is not too bad for 2 years old. I paid $4200 for mine New in Aug of 1999. It has been the most reliable machine that I have owned and would buy another for the Mrs. if the right deal came along and my wallet felt heavy.

sound a sweet deal,,the 03 400 are probably the best ever built through
the years...keep it up that 2 stroke is unmistaked.

Default Important Question for 400cc TrailBlazer

I have no personal experiance with the 400, but I have twin 250s. They are great quads. I gotta believe that the 400 must be that much better. I think the noise of my quads is no louder than the other four strokes I meet on the trails. Sport400inOH, you might be interested that you are only about 90 miles from the Whitestar Snowmobile Auction. They sold a 400 2002 Scrambler for $2275 two saturdays ago. I took a look at it. It was in excellent shape.

Default Important Question for 400cc TrailBlazer

Where is this snowmobile auction? Do they have a website? Where do their vehicles come from? Can anyone bid? It sounds neat. I just need more room in the garage (and shed for that matter)!

Hello Sport400inOH, the website is www.snowmobileauction.com/index.htm. They have an auction first saturday of each month. This month is two auctions. Next auction is Nov 20. Go to the price reports pages and you can see the sales over the last year. Anyone can bid, you just go to the auction and get a buyers number. You cannot bid over the web, you have to be there. Hope this helps.

Hey scramblered, we see a lot of sleds from your backyard there also; many rentals. I saw two really nice quads there. A mint Banshee and the 400 Scrambler. The next auction is this saturday. Are we going to see you selling anything there Sport400inOH?

Default Important Question for 400cc TrailBlazer

Probably not...I will be selling my 86 Imperial V190 Boat (19'6" 170hp Mercruiser I/O) in the spring and looking for a pontoon boat, otherwise the only other thing that I want to sell is my 1980 KDX 400. I don't think that it would bring much at an auction, so I'll probably sell it locally in the spring. My wife becomes an RN (Nurse) in December so the wallet will get fatter toward early next year. You might see me at the auction then!
