Default air pressure for scrambler tires.

I was purchasing rims and tires but ran into some snags with an online merchant which will probable set me back about a month. that being said, are there any tricks for increasing handling with the stock 489 tires? when I auto crossed my old svt, I used to adjust the handling of the car greatly by adjusting tire pressure, can I do this with my scrambler? I would run 2 psi more pressure in the rear tires then the front to reduce there grip to increase over stear.

what pressures do you guys run? or more importantly what difference in pressure do you guys run betwwen front and rear tires?

I ran the recommended tire psi on myscrambler 2005, 500 and got TWO flats when my sp 05 500 got none. I since went back to 5 and 5 and so far good to go . I think I''l try and bump it up a psi or more next time.

I ran 7 psi in the rear last night and boy what a difference. I could slide the bike all over the place. The ride was rough but I think I'll try 6 psi
