Default 400 sport -- help!!

SUP Fellas, I just changed the front procket on my sport. After tightening the chain, i tightend the bolts on the swingarm and tooker for a spin. Ran great, of course, however the atv wanted to pull to right all the time. never had the problem prior to changing the sprocket. Any ideas? any input would be GREAT.. thanks guys.

Sounds like you might have a low tire on that side, hence pulling. There is no way to put the carrier in at an angle because the way it sits in the swingarm.

Maybe the problem is one arm is shorter than the other? I have a friend that had a similar problem.

If you over tighten the chain and the bearings are bad in the housing it could pull. But check the tires first. What yr of Sport is it and are you tighten the chain correctly?

Check this.....my scrambler swing arm bolt was out, where it hooks to the frame. (on the right side) Everytime I would hit the gas it would pull to the right, I don't know if thats what swing arm bolts you are talking about. Before I found out what it was it broke off 2 teeth on my front sprocket. I had to put lock tite on the bolt to keep it tight.

No you don't have to. The front sprocket is a piece of cake to change. it's about a 5 min. job. I don't know about the rear, I never changed it.
