ive asked this before, but i have narrowed it down my tach reads off about 300 rpms when the lights are turned on and when you turn them off it reads right back normally... now my battery is right at 12 volts not running and i dont remember what its at when running... could this have to do with a weak battery, a bad voltage regualtor?

it will read correctly until about 5500 RPM then it will get all screwy

what about a stator could it have to do with that.. please mention anything you know i need the help i dont ask many question... thanks guys [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
