Default best slip on muffler for 500 4x4 w/ stock header?

hi to all, hope everyone got their fill of turkey, im looking to find the best slip on muffler for my brothers 500 4x4 for christmas, any suggestions as to one that will connect to his stock header/ pipe. will he need to rejet after installing one? thanks

I wuld have to say it wouldbe a White BRos.I did alot of searching before I got mine.

I would agree....the Pure Polaris slip on is a great pipe. He will not have to jet until he opens up the air box.

Where can i find a Pure Polaris slip on for my 03' scrammy 500? I counld't find it on the polaris website.
BTW, does anyone have one on their scrammy, and is it worth it?

you mentioned that if he opened up is air box, he did put a k&n filter on it. should he rejet? does anyone have reccommendations as to what main and needle setting he should use?

wher should i look to find a slip on e series muffler, white brothers.com doesnt show a listing for this bike ?

If he put in a K&N filter and drilled some holes in the air box, yes he will have to rejet. A drop in K&N does nothing unless you let it get more air. Call a Polaris dealer and see if they got a Pure Polaris pipe for it. As far as jet size I don't know, buy extra jets and do a plug check. It really is a guessing game at frist.
