anyone ever heard of putting(custom of course) a plow on a scrambler 500 4x4?
I know it can tow,climb,and carry weight...why not PUSH?

 

cycle country actually makes a mounting kit for the scram 500. i have been looking into it as well.

motoxoutlet.com sells them cheap. chances are that your local dealer is a cycle country dealer as well.

you can also find alot of useful info about it if you search the forum for "scrambler 500 plow" and similar searches.

I've got 2 Cycle Country Plows . A 48" & a 60" , they were bought for two different machines but the psh tubes or plow frame is the same & either one will go on my 2001 Scrambler 500 . I use a winch to lift the plow but they do make a manual lift & an electric mini winch type setup . I would suggest getting the winch . I bought the 48" first for a Yamaha 250 Timberwolf 2x4 & it plowed pretty good unless you had 6" or mor of snow , then it had to work . It cost about $500 for the 48" new . The 60" I bought used on ebay for $225 . It needed sanding & painting ,but otherwise was fine . Check out my pics for the winch setup . The mount is made by Cycle Country for about $100 & normally I cover the winch with a soft cover when not using it. Hope this helps .
