I don't have the infor infront of me, but according to my information, the invoice price is just over 5700 and it says the dealer will spend 40-65 is set up. Some dealerships will charge hundreds for set up. The Destination charge is included in the invoice price. Also, the dealers get a hold back of 5% for all of the units sold during the previous 12 months. I am not sure what time of year they get this. Sales ax here is Phoenix is 8.1%.

As for thh current promotion, if one does not use Polaris financing they are entitled to $200 in accessories. The dealer gets a $135 credit for the 200 allowance. The dealer does not get this credit if financing is used.

It sounds like several of you got good deals. I know I am happy. I do think I could have negotiated more (based on the fact my dirst offer was accepted) on my deal but I was happy to not have to hassle with it and allow the dealership to make a reasonable profit.

They owe for for advertising now...

It cost a few dollar but I think it is worth it... could save hundreds.

What? that DW is infactuated with the yfz 450?

And pretty much everything else Yamaha puts out sport wise?

And I (we), was appaled when then they said 500 dollars worth of mods and the Raptor is better.

Really?..you can get Fox rezzie shocks a stronger swingarm and Douglas wheels with maxxis tires on them and wheel spacers for 500 bucks?

Yep, we just wonder why Yamaha did not pay Dirt Wheels enough money to say that the Raptor is the best. Maybe Yamaha thought they was spending enough money on the yfz to be on every page.

Ah, gotcha, I actually *did* see cyclebuy.com, but didn't want to spend the $12 without seeing a sample of a report.
I negotiated down to $5660 for a 2005 yesterday, and I'm headed up to Nashua Saturday to pay & pick it up.
Unless someone has horror stories about Nashua, or knows someplace in New England that'll beat $5600, I'm good, but thanks for responding!

I can't believe I'm actually considering a Predator, but a dealership that offers both Honda and Polaris, has me thinking. Was quoted $5,300 on a 2005 TLD Predator and $6,100 for the 450R. The main thing that concerns me is the resale of Polaris vs, Honda. Didn't get a quote on the standar Pred.....what would be better in the dunes? The TLD or standard? I might be joining the Polaris crowd (still can't belive it) within the next month or so.
