hmmmm.....800 EFI vs 700 EFI....engine specs
I also remember reading somewhere that the stroke is longer on the 800. So, it sounds like there is an error in your manual Dave.
And yes, they improved the clutch system and added a beefier belt.

ya, i think we pretty much figured out the manual is wrong and the stroke is 76.5mm
