Its not hard at all. Just the 4 fastners on the bottom of the bowl are really hard to get out. I had to take a dremel and grind a slot in it so I could get a flat tip screw driver on it. A lot of people have had the same problem. but once you get to the carb and get the bowl off its easy. There are a lot of threads on it just search for it.

Yea the screws can be hard to get out, I took some needle nose vise grips and got mine out...then I replaced them with allen heads, from the hard ware store. This is something you might want to do. You might want to send your carb off to Nicholas Cycle and have him go through it....it makes a big difference in the throttle response, and you can get some more hp out of it. And Bradracer18 has a Nicholas Carb for sell. (Very good deal)

Ps If you want to ajust the air screw, you will have to drill out the brass plug, which is real easy. You may want to turn it out 1 full turn.
