Please Be Careful While Riding
#21
Really hits close to home. Similar thing happened to me on my snowmobile but I came out without a scratch. I was on a trail I didn't know. I was coming out of a corner and hammered it. Next thing I know I was in the air and then hit the ground. I hear the sound of a snowmobile behind me (My buddy) hitting the brakes, then crash. My sled was totaled especially after my buddy put his right front ski through my dash. What happened what the snow was fairly deep. There was a rock that was covered in the snow and didn't have the typical snow hump that usually happens. It was tall and flat enough to catch my ski. Sportsman70003 has a good point and so does ELKBOW. I have always drove conservative when newer drivers are following me. Its just a guy thing to try to keep up. Unfortunately sometimes my wife tries to and has too much confidence and that scares me. Well, I hope this thread touches more people like it has me and others here.
