Default Anyone buy complete plastic for their Sportsman?

I'm thinking of looking into complete plastic....Camo for my 700 EFI, 2005. I'm sure the dealer would rake me over the coals. Anyone got any idea of price or someone that sells it.....

Well Dave I do know one thing it won't be cheap! You could get it at a dealer now, or wait a little while and keep a close watch on Ebay. With Camo you don't have to worry as much about scratches which is a large plus over the black me and you both have. Tommorow I will contact my dealer and give you price quote so you will have a idea on how much your in for. The dealer pays a "OK" price for the plastic, but they charge you a not ok price. The mark up they have is unreal. With a little research I'm sure you could find a good price, I'll be on the look out for ya!

Thanks Mike and Aaron. I'm not worried about the scratches. I would like camo for hunting season when I hide the ATV off the road so nobody rips it off. Even though I put insurance on it, I hate to have to walk back the distances I drive from camp. I was over 30 miles from camp this year during elk season and off of the mountain, would be a hell of a walk. I shot my elk this year alittle more than 20 miles from the truck and right before dark, that would have sucked to walk all that way back....maybe I'll put the Rottweiler security system on the machine while I'm out hunting....don't think anyone would take it then....but he has a tendancy to go after coyotes and there are a boatload of them where I hunt.....

I have a idea, why not buy a camo ATV cover? I didn't think of that when I first posted, but it would save a lot of green for sure. Anyway just a thought....

i wouldent get a 800 for hunting in my opinion, i find that the dual exaust and the headers make it alot louder to a 700 and more harleyish

Consider the Camo covering that fits on the ATV. Cabela's sells it and I have seen it installed on a few machines. I want to buy it for mine too. It cinches down over all the plastic fenders, tank, sides, and even an optional seat cover. I think it's $125 plus the seat cover.

i was thinking about the camo cover, but i was also thinking of how much mud, dust and dirt would get up in there and how hard it would be to clean....so I was just looking for the full plastic set....
