high compression piston, alumunium air box

Default high compression piston, alumunium air box

Does anyone know which high compression piston to get and does anyone know anything about cfm alumunium airbox? Does it really produce more hp? Thanks.

I think Bradracer could tell u about the piston, I think he just ordered one. I would stay away from the cfm air box, I have heard alot of bad things....about hard to jet with it.

Stay away from CFM's airbox, I too have heard the horror stories........Instead, go with Rath's intake(expensive, but good)......and for a piston........I haven't gotten one yet, but I'm going to go with a 11.5:1 JE piston, because a friend on here reccommended it to me......you could also go with a wiseco too(look on www.nicholascycle.com under predator performance)..........

I have the wiseco 12:5 piston and have had no problems at all!! My buddy had a JE piston in is 450r and it broke where wristpin goes through after few hours so i don't which one is better!!!

I bought it from a Polaris dealer in Texas.
