Whats the difference in Carbs?
#1
I was looking around EBAY at some random stuff. Started looking at Keihin Carbs. I saw a bunch of 39PWK carbs. Some from dirtbikes, some from 250r's. I know the HPD carbs have the adapter on the intake side for the airbox. What are the other differences?

The side of the carb where the airbox goes. On the regular 39 it is alot bigger, the HPD has an adapter to make it smaller, if you look, you can see its a different peice of aluminum in there.

The carbs are setup totally different,HPD uses a different seat and a different slide, and needle. There have been a bunch of people on here that have tried running a non HPD carb and they just can't get it to run right.
