I went riding yesterday in my 05 TLD. Towards the end of the day (after about 4 hours of riding) I noticed 1st gear was weak. Then all of a sudden My engine stalled. It sounded like it was out of gas but when I checked the tank it still had some gas in it. It seemed it was about 1/3 full. I was taking a couple small jumps before this happened. After it stalled I tryed to start it up and It took quite a while. Finally I got it started. It seems to be running fine now. Does anyone have any clue what this could be? I just bought the quad about 4 weeks ago. Any Info would be greatly appreciated. Thanx

 

maybe you were so low on fuel that while you were in the jumps with the fuel sloshing around it wasnt getting to the carb.you might have needed to switch to reserve at that level.

 

Thanks for the reply. Thats what I thought it could be but when I switched it to reserve it still wouldnt turn over. Maybe It had to try a couple times to get the gas flowing. Hopefully thats all it is. Thanx again.
