They have the same MSRP and the old SP. And they actualy price has been about the same as the old SP as well at my dealer. If you want an old model SP, they are dirt cheap here. Pick one up for less then 6K right now, while they last.

If the guy does not know about the winch, then don't sell it with the machine. If however, he does know about the winch, not giving it to him may kill the deal.
The Warn 2500 runs about $399 to $450 new depending where you look.

My dealer says his cost increased over $200 on the new HO and he said his old cost was $5750. Any truth to this or is he after more of my hard earned cash.

I did not say that he said MSRP changed. He just said he cost went up $200.

I have about 10 different prices from dealers over a 200 mile radius. The best is $6300, the worst is over $7000. One jackass sells 2000 models for $6100 now (he pulls the winch thing too, with the winch it is $250 more, and $6100 is without). This jerk says that his cost on an HO is more than the $6100 that they are asking for 2000 models. I don't believe him any more than I can throw him. He also acted like an *** and said that he isn't even taking orders on 2001 models yet. Also, he tried to play off any improvements to the Sportsman saying that they were not even noticeble other than maybe the power, and that it already has enough so why did they even bother. This jerk is just trying to get rid of his 2000 models. The other salesman at this same place sings a different tune though.

Everyone is different. $6300 is the best I can find, and I would have to drive close to 170 miles to get that. $6400 at a place 65 miles away. $6500 closer to home. The closest place is about 7 grand. I'll be doing some travelling it seems.
