Can anyone tell me if the Hi-Rev ignition box is a good upgrade? Will it do damage to the engine since it will rev so much Higher? If it is a good upgrade does anyone know a good brand to go with? Thanks for any input.

 

Raising the rev limit would be the LAST thing I'd consider man. You can severely reduce your engine's life at best, or grenading it at worst. You never know what the 'weak link(s)' is(are), but a rev limit is there for a reason.
Did you already try the other myriad things you can do to increase performance?

Thanx for the warning. My buddy just bought a 450r 05 and I wanted to make sure I could keep up with him on my TLD 05. What other mods would you suggest? Thanks again.
