What size jets are on a stock 04 Predator? Are they large round or small round? Also, what size main jet would you guys recommend with an HMF slip on and a K&N?

 

Stock.......I think it is about 150.........I don't know what you mean by large or small.........they are a hex head jet.......


I'd think you'll need to be in the range of about 162.5 to 167.5 with those mods........if ya mod the airbox, you'll be towards the top end of my range........

 

on the stock carb they are small round..

 

The main jet is the same as a Raptor main jet, I have a buddy that has my 165 in his Raptor. So if you have a hard time getting one from your dealer...go to Yamaha dealer and try to get one.

 

The mains are small round Mikuni's

 

Thanks for your help. I thought they took the small rounds but wasn't sure. Is anyone sure on what sizes? Stock and with the mods? This is for my buddies 04 Predator and just today another buddie just traded in his 400EX for a brand new 05 Predator and he wants to do the same........[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

 

Stock main has been 150, I would think the 05 would be the same but not positive. If your using a drop in K&N with no airbox mods I'd go up 3 sizes to start (157.5) I would also remove the mixture plug to adjust the pilot circuit if needed....
