What would make the cooling fan start running when I havent started my 04.5 sp500 ho in a few hrs.I only started it to move it out of my shed. The key is off. The only wat to get the fan to turn off is to disconnect the battery.When I start it the pod flashes ENGINE HOT. Any ideas
Any problems leaving the battery cable unhooked?

 

Sound like the wire going to the temp sensor is broken or bad sensor.
