polaris advice
I am considering purchase of a sportsman 500 and would appreciate any helpful advice on these questions.
1. Does the polaris actually have 63 grease fittings to maintain as told me by a yamaha dealer?
2. Does the 500 have problems decending slowly down a steep hill due to the ebs system only holding the rear wheels back?
3. Is the cvt belt system less reliable than honda's gear drive?
4.Has anyone bought a polaris out of your area from another dealer and had problems getting it serviced from a local dealer.
thanks for your info!!

polaris advice
1.i dont think the 05's have as many zerks as the previous years and IMO thats a bad thing,i personaly like being able to grease my machine after playing in the water.
2.ive never had problems going down steep hills on my brothers sp600,use the brakes a little and youll be fine.
3.i would say the cvt is just as reliable, and much easier to work on if something does go wrong.
4.you shouldnt have any problems as long as the dealer is decent..

2 the EBS only works on the rears (due to the AWD system) so you need to feather the throttle on downhills to keep all fours locked.
3 No, use low when your suposed to and you'll be fine.
