05 500AWD Question

05 500AWD Question
Hey,
I have a 2005 sportsman 500 and when it is in 2WD while riding in semi hard packed conditions like snow, and looses traction the front wheels will kick in. On the other hand when in 2WD on ice it will stay in 2WD. It seams like when ever i dont want the 4WD engauged, it will kick in on me. Is there somthing im not doing right or is this a glitch? Thanx

I have A 4X4 04SCRAMBLER and when I have it in 4WD the back tires will alwas spinn 1ST then the fronts will engage but in 2WD it stays in 2WD.If yours is different than that I would diffinatly take it back to the dealer were you bought it from.

alot of the time the hub fluid will be under or over filled from the dealership... make sure that checks out before you take it to your dealer, if all checks out take it back and complain bacuse u paid way to much for that atv for it not to be proforming up to your standards
