"I can now forgive the bashers!!"

I gotta admit that all the bashing of Polaris sport quads used to get to me. I could not completely comprehend it. This morning I watched an ATV videotape, "ATV Airforce". It was ATV pro national and Motocross track races. I was really surprised to see how the Laeger's and other racing quads were set up.
I could just picture my Scrambler out there getting stomped! Don't get me wrong but those quads reminded me of go-carts. Seeing as how the tires are so small, ground clearance is minimal and the swingarms are super wide. I gotta admit that the front double A-arm suspension is pretty impressive also for those types of twisty, bumpy, jumpy riding conditions. My Scram would not have a chance! I would not mind adding double a-arms to my quad though. That is why I can understand where 250R,racing quad-type riders can misinterpret "our" sport quads. It is like trying to take a Formula 1 race car on a Rally style race.
That is why I could not see myself and others like me, riding one of those quads deep in the woods or mountains or in very muddy or hilly areas. Our sport quads need more ground clearance and rugged qualities, even 4x4. Not at all the same usage. The latter needs a track or very "track-like" areas.
Just a thought to those new to this forum and to the eventual bashing. Take it all lightly with a big smile!

You got that right!!!! high proformance machines like the leager trx250r can't even go through a puddle without getting stuck
I'm not into the utility quads so I chose a sport, the POLARIS SCRAMBLER 400 2X4 was the only one I could find that was really fast and allowed me to go through some deep mud without the fear of getting stuck.
WHEN IN DOUBT AIR DOWN!!!!!!!!!!
2000 POLARIS SCRAMBLER 400 2X4
