Scott,
I found the carb but I still need to look for a couple parts for it. I will PM you with the address when I get everything together. I want to make sure I have everything to make it work. Give me another day or two.

we built a 2000 tb a couple of years ago. used the 34mm mik carb also. your starting point sounds pretty close. i ran an FMF fatty pipe, AAEN roller clutch, .040 wiseco, full port, and cut head. depending on your riding area, style, etc. a light weight in the front clutch may help too. you have the same gearing i ran. another thing to try is the UFO from HOTSEAT. it mounts into the slide on the carb and helps direct air flow. this will help with throttle response and mid range. i work for as a tech for a polaris dealership and have had very good luck with the ufo's. i mostly put them in the 400's. also, on the tb i used an O8 needle jet, but again all bikes are different so its mostly trying to see what works best for your combo. PS helps to keep notes of all mods, gives you something to go back to. and also, on the polaris always tune the motor in first and then clutch work!!
